Medical Flight Insurance 2016

This just in from BMHQ, and cleared for publication...

Although we have a first-rate medical facility on playa, the occasions come when people do need to be airlifted to Reno for medical services. This is a very pricey prospect! Luckily we have access to an insurance service that, for $25, will cover you for any medical evacuation from playa during August and September. Of course there are caveats related to your own insurance coverage, but you can read all about it and sign up for the service through American Medflight, here. It’s called the Burningman (sic) SaveAir program - look for the link in the upper right corner of the page. Insurance must be purchased before you hit the playa in order to be valid. Hope you don’t need it!
