Bubbles on the playa?

Post by pappapigg » Fri Jan 14, 2005 8:23 pm

:D Hi there, just wondering if soap bubbles, and their residues, could be considered MOOP.
Anyone know of a viable biodegradable recipe.
I need somethoing good, I plan on making at least 3' bubbles.
I've also heard about U.V. reactive bubble soap, can anyone give me any details on that?
Thanks.
Did you know that bubbles can be very therapeutic?
Be good...or be discreet

I was looking for info on glow in the dark bubbles myself just today. There's a company called tekno bubbles that makes 'em, they're kind of expensive. Best I could find was http://shop.store.yahoo.com/villagestreetwear/blbu.html - $4.99 for 2 little bottles. The company tekno bubbles itself seems to only sell in $10,000 minimum lots. I also found this company, http://www.readysetglo.com/Heat_n_dip_glowpaint.asp# who have a client list that includes tekno bubbles. So I assume that TB buys the powder from readysetglo and adds it to just some ordinary bubble mix and sells it. I'm actually thinking about buying some powder and trying some mixes myself - I'm sure the trick is in the proportions, and making a "strong" enough bubble base to stand up to the mass of the powder, and enough powder to make a worthwhile glow, but I figure it's worth $20 or so of experimentation. If I do any experimentation I'll post the results here.
