Finished my light up hat project! Six different simple effects controlled by a momentary switch. Here is one.

Car serviced, tires checked, fluids topped up, oil changed etc.

Made sure I had the current car insurance card in the car, and verified my Roadside Assistance coverage and details.

Hardware store run last weekend, misc stuff including PVC spares for the monkey hut, just in case.
This weekend, demoop the truck bed-- we've been hauling compost and there's still bits of it in there. Not playa colored. Definitely moopy.

Finished a jacket....
Bought a Men's Tuxedo jacket at a thrift store
Shortened the length of the jacket and the sleeves, made some other small adjustments
Added shiny rainbow fabric to the lapels
Made a corset back

Stayed up way too late last night making my 2018 burning mix. Not a DJ, just putting a playlist together on my ipod to stay alert n awake on the drive to and fro. 10 hours plus of music, lots extra.

MyLarry has filed his FMLA, his semi is empty of all personal items, SWIFT is sending a recovery driver to take it to the terminal today.

More lights arrived today. Medical alert temporary tattoo arrived. I cut up, marinated, sautéed, and froze a huge amount of chicken for one of the shared camp dinners.

Friday I spent one hour and 46 minutes at the DMV to get my tags that expire on 8/31/18. When I told the supervisor that I couldn't register online or at a kiosk, she had to check herself. Finally let me stand in a loooooong line to get my tags. No idea why my registration was flagged, but it was.

Yesterday got all my lights rebatteried and added a few new ones to the bike. Found out I need 10-12 inch zip ties. Demooped 60 pairs of socks for a sock puppet workshop.

Today, making my photo necklaces for gifts and possibly setting up the shade for a test run of lags and mule tape straps. I've learned how to burn the cut ends to keep from fraying.

I've done a fair amount of taste testing of costco golden margaritas. Definitely brining 4 bottles of that, plus all the beers and ciders.

Today is Charge All the Things-- my tent and monkey hut lights, my usb power bricks, my impact driver batteries, my camera batteries, and probably something else I haven't thought of yet.

Went through my light-up box and inventoried what I'd need for AA and AAA batts for the bike headlights, tail lights, and EL wire. Took batteries out of a couple of things and cleaned up the leaky battery cruft (wups).

Went through the medical bin and made sure to restock as needed (sunscreen, ibuprofen, etc). This year things are bagged according to category to prevent insanity and rummaging.

Turned some leftover shiny fabric into a loin cloth/breech cloth thing and a tube top. Bought a couple of buckets from the home improvement store.

Other than a few items of fresh food, I'm done buying anything more. Seriously. Change my Amazon password.

OMG. Can you change mine too? It's like christmas every day. I come home and there are packages galore! This has to stop! (after the next order, because I NEED things!!!).

Yeah, OK, so I lied. Bought some more lights online.

Paid bills, did my assorted banking, set out of office notice, reminded co-workers that they have just a few more days if they need something from me.

Printed up return address stickers to put on everything for lost and found, and missing dog signs, just in case the unforeseeable occurs.

I have fairy lights sewn to my dirty ass playa back-pack, which had to be thrown in the washer. I took out the batteries, then washed it and let it dry. I was THRILLED when I put batteries back in and they lit up!

I ordered more fairy lights just in case.

Expecting the last couple of deliveries today.
Printed out all the papers (WAP etc).
Packed all clothes and shoes.
Figured out a good way to elevate the cooler off the playa and have it high enough for me to access the spigot thing without making a mess. I physically can't pick up and manage the water flow by myself otherwise.
