Bass player looking to connect with Musicians!

Hey, I'm a bass player who does everything from Black Sabbath to Bach, from Giant Steps to Highway to Hell. Looking for other musicians to hook up with- drummers, guitarists, what-do-you-got...I'll have an acoustic bass guitar, as well as a battery powered amp, and will be looking to play the playa from Tuesday on. So, what do you got?

if youre not looking for a place to camp..... and you just want to play music..and you like jazz.. /can read lead sheets...

you should hit up the Playa Jazz Cafe.... on the outer-ring road of center camp known as 'rods road', just off the esplanade, west side of centercamp bump, around 8:30 on the outerring of 'rods road'

nightly jazz jam sessions 9pm to ...whenever


(i dont represent the camp.. but, am a longtime fan and can say that bassists are sometimes in short supply out there!)

jazz only though, no black sabbath.

Drummer here. Mostly jazz and just about anything else. My friend who is coming with is trumpet player. We should gig.

The Jazz Cafe is the place for jazz!
The HOTD (Hair Of The Dog) on Rod's Road always has amps and drums set up and has open jams all the time.
Transmorphagon at 4/Esplanade (about) has a big stage and usually has some open jams. They specialize in funk.....
The Golden Cafe near the 3 o'clock keyhole also has open jams in the afternoons and is one of the best little bars you'll find.
