SIDESHOW seeks interested, willing and able performers looking for a venue to please, tease or amaze audiences at BM 2013.

SIDESHOW is the new theme camp production of APOKILIPTIKA, and will take on the look, feel, features and activities of a traditional sideshow of the turn of the century-to 1940s period with tones of the slightly creepy steampunkish. Geeks, Freaks and Absurdities in Abundance. The crew has 8 years of experience in theme camp set up and operation, and will NEVER be a theme camp in name only. We are theme freaks.

Interested performers can post here to inquire.

Looking for:

Jugglers
Fire performers who do the odd and unusual
Exotic dancers
Magicians
Marching bands
Acrobats
Circus-carnival based or inspired acts
Self described freaks of nature
...and more.

fire breathing any good for ya Mr Killbuck? i mean i know its not good for ya but i do it anyway.
i spin a staff and devil stix too but i am rubbish when they is on fire. Oh yea for the last 2 years i have set myself on fire but only by accident

Fire breathing is great!!!! I especially like it when you breath the fire IN.

Staged accidental setting on fire is always a crowd pleaser.

Most BRC Citizens already qualify under the National Sideshow Association Geeks and Freaks standards. Stay tuned in future, because we may have a Freak Talent Night. You only have 11 months to get ready.

What a coincidence! Look what arrived just this AM....

Also, got a good deal on a replacement (titanium) astrolabe. The procelain one was a little too fragile & moopy for that last round of mad perambulation in deeper playa. Guess when they say "don't go beyond the trash fence" they really mean it. Tho a little hard to play hide & seek out there, it was a fun night out for all! Oh, FLIR cameras = WANT.

it's a strange thing cranking the handle, after the first time you know its painful for him. I only cranked it once more (ok twice actually 3). not my thing but it was voluntary

Reheated leftovers in saran wrap don't really interest me that much, but I found something sort of fun and ironic considering the hand crank generating electricity.... and a challenged solar array....

Then, with all the technical geniuses here, what is the possible watt generating capacity of spanking the monkey anyway?
