Movement Of Jah People Art Car is back for 2013

Yes thats right the "Rasta Lion" or the "Reggae art car" or whatever you call it is back and will be back for BRC 2013! We have made improvements already and will be making more before the Exodus from Phoenix to Zion or BRC. Movement Of Jah People or MOJP loves you and wants to bring love, unity, respect and great music to the Playa. It gives me great pleasure to serve you and bring good vibes to you every day and every night.

If you cant tell the lion head is made from sheet metal with Burning Man logos cut out of if leaving the pattern of the negative. We give out the cut outs on lanyards for the positive.

Absolutely loved the lion on the playa last year. It was a perfect afternoon spot to stop by and enjoy some not so electronic tunes. i vote for some reggae bands on it this year....or maybe that happened last year and I was just off in my own world...

Rarely have I seen so much affection for an artcar on ePlaya (beyond rarities like La Contessa, or Draka the Dragon).

I've never had the good fortune to see the Movement of Jah mutant vehicle in person, but I love the lion face with its thousands of little cutouts (the fact that these were made into necklaces is so perfect I can't stand it).

We got some additional speakers for this year. 2 JBL EON 15 powdered speakers. We pretty much doubled what we had last year. If someone at BM asks me to turn it down this year im going to fly off the handle. Unless the speakers are clipping.

I hope you don't go by a fire truck, "in the city/residential section" with super loud music, they might mistake it for an emergency and douse your MV with a water canon or foam or something.

I turned it down every time. I was kidding about flying off the handle. Even if I wasnt its Fucking Burning man in open playa . Its not like we rolled up on someones party and blasted them out. Im not an asshole. But when you are having a party of your own and you have 50 people dancing in front of the car and someone asks me to turn it down I may or may not turn it down depending on the conditions and scenario.
