Seeking videographer for documentary

Post by marcusr5 » Sun Aug 18, 2013 9:35 am

We are seeking a videographer that is interested to help create a documentary on two awesome creations on the playa.

The Second Frumming art car which is part of Nor Cal Black Rock Railroad. The Second Frumming is a converted Caddilac limo that has a spinning bird cage on the back. This year, a 6' tall, articulated, robotic sculpted copper and steel skull of John Frum (MC Frum) will be mounted on top of the cage. The eyes of MC Frum are 17" video monitors that will have live mixed video content. There will be articulated wings with a 17' wingspan that spread when the head nods. The jaw is activated, with smoke and a sheet laser coming out of the mouth. It will blow your mind! This is the creation of Hillbilly.

The Second Frumming art car will be staying at SK8 KAMP at 9:00 and Esplanade that has a special connection in inspiring each other to build awesome things for the Playa. SK8 KAMP was built under the premise of Every City Needs A Skatepark for skaters and spectators to enjoy. Since 2011, SK8 KAMP has been inspiring people to dream up awesome skateable art installations and share them with the burner community and the youth of communities in Oakland and other cities.

If you re interested to help out, email us at [email protected] or come by SK8 KAMP at 9:00 and Esplanade and ask for Hillbilly or Playa Wood
