When they're too busy drinking Skol Vodak and eating cat food, we'll just move the boarder stakes and perimeter rope 20 feet into their camp.
If Gigsville complains in the morning, we'll explain they are wrong, and remind them they are too stupid to know better.

I'm simultaneously thrilled and terrified to be a villager, this year. Thankfully, Tamara is going to hold my hand the whole time and protect me from the meanies.

Greetings, Barbie Death Campers...

I am a huge fan of Camp "Preserved in Time" -- this is a camp where a person can make a time capsule inside a sealed tin can. If I'm not mistaken, Preserved in Time was a part of Barbie Death Camp in years past (2009 and 2010).

Does anyone know if Preserved in Time will be on the playa this year?

Thank-you very much!

You're thinking of Tracy and Janice, and they are part of Greeter's Camp and are already on the playa.

Speaking of which  we're bringing our Teeter-Totter. Its roughly 16' long, and the pivot point/axle can either be roughly 36" or 48" off the ground. We call the 48" level "Super Sketch", cause you're at about a 40 degree angle. Its a blast!!!

The feet are roughly 8' long under the teeter totter, and the side legs stick out 4' each left and right perpendicular to the teeter totter. The side legs are on hinges so that they can fold in for easy moving and transport.

We just don't know where we're going to put it. There really isn't space in our little spot. Plus, back tucked in the village it might not get used as much as it should.

Worth bringing or not?
I figure if we don't use it it can stay disassembled in the back of the truck.

The pic below is before it was painted, with the axel at the lower setting.

I love teeter-totters. And you can burn that one, if you don't feel like taking it home.

I asked this in the DWD FB group, and I think I'll ask again here:

I'm going to need oh, 22 gallons of water. All bought in Reno.

If anybody has water containers to spare (and room to bring them!), so I can decrease the amount of plastic jugs from WalMart lying around, that'd be rad!

Last post.

Blowphish and I are completely packed in our luxury RV. 8 bottles of absinthe, 288 cans of beer, wine, and a burrito. Yup, that should just about do it. See you tomorrow in the dust!

Oh, and eastbound I-80 at Donner Pass is at a complete standstill because of a sinkhole. Figures. I blame Larry Harvey. And the DPW.
