What was that live music camp around 9 portal next to Slutga
Anybody remember the name of that live music camp that set up the big stage right around 9:00 portal, right next to Slutgarden?

Is it possible you're talking about Crossroads? It doesn't SEEM possible, as they have a giant sign saying CROSSROADS on their stage and you would have seen that.

I probably did see the sign, but there's a lot I don't remember about that week. Especially the finer details.
I remember walking by Thursday night, it was right next to Slutgarden, and there was a big 'ole band on this big 'ole stage doing a Beatles cover. I'm pretty sure the singer was a black dude, dressed all in white, and there were a number of illuminated pillars in the dance floor area. Not positive on that last detail. Just thought it was great that quality live music was being performed out on the playa. Wish I spent more time there & want to be sure to visit again.
I did a google machine on Crossroads & it seems about right.
If anybody from the camp is reading, sensational job guys. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the responses.

Behind them (in the portal) was the Bureau Of Misinformation, though I don't recall any live music going on. Beside them on Esplanade was Spanky's Wine Bar, but I thought they were doing DJ's and electronic performers all week.

I'm pretty sure the guy you saw on stage was Trance, he runs Crossroads, eveything you described, I'm 99% sure its Crossroads (Who spun off of Planet Earth a few years ago)pretty sure the singer was a black dude, dressed all in white, and there were a number of illuminated pillars in the dance floor area.
