I'm a female, 30 y/o & no I'm not a serial killer.. I retired that hobby 6 months ago. I'm in the SF Valley(Valley Glen/North Hollywood area). I'm hoping to stay the whole week on the playa. In addition, I hope to travel with two other people & I prefer that one of them be an experienced burner. There.

Definitely get in contact with folks via the 'regional' option on the BM site. I'm almost certain that there is a Facebook group as well. In a few months there will be a plethora of folks posting on the rideshare portion of the BM site. You may end up riding with people that you do not end up camping with and vice versa. Planning on doing a low key year with my boyfriend and one other couple. That being said we will be leaving from North Hollywood area but the pick up truck i am renting only holds three. I was thinking of finding someone with spare room to drive up with us. Let me know if that would interest you. We are not doing a big camp and I camp on the way outskirts of town. But if you are looking for caravan buddies this just might work out. Let me know. If interested I can share with you the itinerary I am planning.
