if someone were to drive from toronto to burning man and back, theyd probably need an oil change somewhere along the way.

You could also consider shipping it. Use ground freight - it'll take longer to get there, but save you some money.

Are you on the BurnT list? There's talk of organising a shipping container.

Don't email the people who run BurnT... join the mailing list, and then read the discussion in the archives.i have e-mailed BurnT a couple of times, but never got a response

All I know about this is that someone on the list said he was considering organising a container, and asked if anyone would be interested. Then things degenerated into discussions about cats.

Any luck on the Toronto BM group?? I could talk to the Saskatchewan BM rep and find out some real contact info (that is, if you want me too)...trjw wrote:Don't email the people who run BurnT... join the mailing list, and then read the discussion in the archives.i have e-mailed BurnT a couple of times, but never got a response

Don't most conversations evolve to the ever-present subject of cats??

Re: anyone driving from Toronto in 2013?
Dangerous - how did this work out last year shipping from Toronto or Buffalo?
I'm keen to organize something like this for our group this year and would be interested to learn more about costs per space, logistics for retrieving items, storage options before retrieving, and shipping back to TO/Buffalo following BM, etc.
Thanks

Reading the posts above, it sounds like connecting with the Toronto regional group is the way to get an answer and find out more information.
