Our camp comes in from all over the place and we opt to rent a storage unit year round in the Reno area (Flexible)
we currently pay a little over 320 a year for a 5' x 10' (8' high) unit at All American Storage in Sparks.
No problems with them at all in fact they are very kind, even letting us hose stuff off in the lot etc.
(it is on the 2nd floor but we only get in there once a year so we can deal)
But multiple people have told me that we are paying too much?! (we pay the year in advance and some places offer deals...ours works out to $27 per month)
Does anyone on here have any experience with storage units in the area? we can go outside of Reno / Sparks too if it's more cost efficient

$27? Sounds like a fantastic deal. Somehow, I have to deal with $800 a year. More than twice that. Now, I don't know what's in ours and where it is and how much extra space it has, but 27--and no problem with the staff, and no theft? It aint broke. Don't try and fix it...
(I did the math, and we're paying $66.6 a month--which is a different sort of awesome, I admit.)

Our place doesn't have small units like yours and your price seems to be competitive in comparison. We use Lockwood Landing http://www.lockwoodlandingselfstorage.com/ in Sparks. Their prices are listed here: http://www.lockwoodlandingselfstorage.c ... rices.html. They are super burner friendly and we've used them for years.
