Leaving on 8/29

I am hoping to come this year (first time!), still trying to get a ticket. If I come, though, I'd have to leave on August 29 (very early, I know - I'd be leaving on just the fourth day )

I'd need a ride from someone to the SF Bay Area (San Jose). My flight is on Aug. 30 and I'd want to leave the day before to make sure I leave plenty of time.

Is this feasible? Are there many other people who are leaving this early? Do people usually arrange an early ride back beforehand or just try and find people there who are riding back?

EDIT: And of course, if anyone reading this is leaving on the 29th or even earlier, can I get a ride with you?

I am in the same boat, though I already have a ticket. Were you able to get a ride, if so, have any extra seats ?
