So, Its almost that time again, and every year I throw up a new thread trying to find the best of the worst deals and the best whiners.

Stubhub has 8 General Admission tickets available for 2500.00 each to this years event... Beat that!

Please dont post direct links to ads, it advertises their crappy prices and violates our ethos. Since even when posted in satire it is still a free post. There is no such thing as bad press.

Couldn't I simply create a StubHub account, list tickets for 3000 each, and we continue to play the game that way? I rather think that's what has already happened in that case.

Some user-driven/person-to-person sales sites (like eBay and Stubhub) have terms that require sellers have some kind of proof of purchase. They don't necessarily have to have tickets in hand, but they at least need to have proof of having made a purchase. Ebay tends to be pretty proactive in yanking speculators, while Stubhub drags their heels at investigating claims and allegations of ticket speculating. I'm not sure if it's because they just want to cater to ticket scalpers or if they're just inundated with people who use flagging and complaints to protest high prices. Just say no to feeding the bears.

I am sooooo glad I am not going to Burning Man in 2013... I'm having a year off and going to Cambodia instead.... we'll be back, hopefully with the Barbiebarians in 2014 - we loved staying with BDC and helping out
