how's this sound.

the camps at the far ends, and FIRST camp should not hold large scale events, infact, do nothing all week...

this would result in those camps NOT HAVING TO PICK UP 10 TIMES MORE THAN THEY ACTUALLY GENERATE BECAUSE IDIOTS LEAVE THEIR CRAP EVERYWHERE... ESPECIALLY IN THE HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS WHERE IT"S DIFFICULT TO STOP and POLICE BECAUSE OF SHEER NUMBERS.

location. location. location.

not to mention the grinding in to the playa of said moop by said herds.

no matter who camps at the corners, it's gonna be redder than red...unless..

wait, a compromise...

Only feature Canadian Legends Lawrence Welk and Guy Lombardo...

ahhh....peace......soothing sounds.....no need for ambien....people who can actually mix a proper stinger....

and most importantly, no twinkerbelles with keropi the frog mini-backpacks sucking on rainbow candy canes while videotaping the whole scene on their cell-phone.

no smelly hippies offering to gift me a handmade tampon made only from organic kind bud and hey, do you have any water, like i forgot mine...

no frat boys grabbing free gropes because they think thats what these hotties "really want"...

and no having to deal with the rangers and the leos and every tom dick and harry who wanders into your personel space, but hey, it's a big camp, and so, we're on display 24-7, so its non-fucking stop.

and all of this so the above can come and shake their butt, smile, look at the cool lights and feel their inner organs re-arrange when the bass goes THOOOOOOM...

and hopefully have some fun.

fuck freq and lorin....they suck...we scratched them....NO DJS THIS YEAR UNLESS THEY PLAY 78's.....Larry and Guy...maybe some George Shearing for SPICE.

yeah....lets see the moop map next year, cause i hear it was better.

hey, and for some, that IS the american dream.

like my grandma, for instance

Just because there is a mark on the moop map doesn't mean the moop was from that camp, they only mark where the stuff was found. Where I was camped someone came along and dropped off a bike and a couch after we cleared out. The couch was probably from a raffle and couldn't fit in the compact car so it was left on the playa along with all the broken bikes and whatnot.

I usually drop my composting off at the Earth Guardian camp about 3:30 am on Tuesday after the Burn. Everybody'll know they didn't do it, so no problem.

Education as such not only happens before but during the event, with the theme camp crew & BR Rangers talking to camps about obvious problems before they get out of hand.

Or not.

yes, and anyone visiting the porta potties...SHAME ON YOU!

(those little rectangles that appear exactly where people stood in line waiting to gift something liquid, stinky, or both).

i think that map only reflects popularity / heavy traffic areas, and nothing more.

except possibly as a ill-informed weapon of argument used by those who will ALWAYS whine about something.

It looks like a green around the keyholes and yellow on the esplanade, not all camps on the corners find it impossible to rake the dust on Tuesday, it would seem some put a little more work into it that others.

that said it is true a lot of stuff does get ground in pretty good , covered and packed down, and is nearly impossible to de-moop.

It's tough to do anything. Our camp is green with one red dot on it. You click to see the pictures and realize that the photos are from across the street, so the dot is on the wrong corner. I was disappointed that we had apparently left a mess to clean, but it was mismarked.

i think this whole matter out of place matter can be solved, and a much higher level of accountability achieved when we voluntarily agree to RFID chip everything.

oh wait....nevermind.

...don't worry, that's coming soon enough in the real world!

The addition of photos this year is nifty though! Kind of like the bad neighbor's website....
