I'm looking for gray sneakers that I think I lost on Monday night around 9:15 and A. They're of the Chrome brand and were really uncomfortable. They have these white elastic shoelace type things (three on each foot). Size 10.5 (or around that).

Maybe . . . it's for the best?

Best case scenario: some member of the Department of Public Works with feet a size smaller has MOOPed them and will wear them as house shoes around the fire in the evenings for the next two months, and then Burn them. Provided that's environmentally recommended, of course.

Worst case: there'll be a knock at the door tomorrow evening and law enforcement is standing there holding your guilty sneakers and a bill from Reno's The Sands Hotel, where the sneakers have been boozing and whoring and running up a room service tab for the past three days.
