Turned into Playa info. Wonder if he got it back?

You may be sure Andrew will get his license back if the address is current. He might have gotten it back even on-Playa, depending on how early in the event this was, and how late he stayed.

The Lost & Found is very, very busy right now, so if Andrew didn't know enough to go to Playa Info and has since replaced his DL, he might get to use it as next year's spare I.D.
