I heard a rumor about some people running around, Air Raid Sirens, Alien eggs dropping out, the world fighting back, something like a Dr.Strangelove H-Bomb scene, a big huge battle, explosions and fire. But maybe it was all a dream

Weird - I had nearly that exact same dream.

Mine had a giant Fez in there too, fighting the good fight. What does it mean????

On a serious note...I would like to get my hands on two old telescopes, sort of working. I am thinking anything from those crummy Meade telescopes that many of us had as kids to something like a spotting scope, to mount up high on TASM. Sort of working to working. I could probably cobble together eye pieces, but main lens and mirrors should be present. The idea is to give folks up high or high folks up a chance to look out onto our fair city from the crows nest gun, and the gun ports in the body (40' and 30' off of the playa, respectively). I have seen a few on ebay in the $15 - 30 range, but I thought I would first see if someone had one junking around in the garage. You can PM me or [email protected] or 510-612-0664 text

Agreed. I decided to make the head more rounded and less Trojan Horsey-Anubisey (I am in a rut) last week. The idea was to really go for the Alien look. Now even more so. Honestly, this bums me out, and I am sorry he died. It is a little self-serving, but I had this fantasy he would contact me and either said he loved it, or hated it. Either would have been fantastic!
