Hi there, I am a London based decor artist thinking about coming to Burning Man in 2014. I would love to see some of my backdrops up at a theme camp or displayed on an art car next year, so if you run a camp or know someone who does and you like my work, please do get in touch! I decorate loads of psychedelic trance parties in the UK and Europe, but I've never come to the US. Glowing stuff seems to be very popular at Burning Man, and boy do my backdrops glow! Check out my facebook page for more images of my work and photos from previous events. I've got lots of pieces!
Cheers,
Murray

I was a bit wary when you yourself proclaimed that your own art was amazing but you provided the goods to back it up, so bully for you

Welcome to eplaya.
I believe it was the French Quarter village that had something similar back in 2012 - it was in "Chinatown" with rad UV art lining the "back alley" walls. Maybe contact them? But really, you don't need much of a showcase - set it up alongside your own little camp and plenty of people will appreciate it!

Beautiful, Murray.
Plenty of info here about getting your art placed (although you can also display it at your own camp, too).

Could you do real scenes? You could make your own camp into a Caravansary by surrounding it with UV murals.

Can you explain a little more about what im seeing please. Is this an opaque panel with light behind it or leds of some kind. Looks like you could custom design. Is that possible do you have to make it there and bring it or can you make it here once you arrive? You are correct. This art form will be a great addition to BM. Looking forward to see what you come up with, Good Luck.

If you read the title of the post its uv active. Meaning a panel painted with uv activated paint.

Yeah, but it could potentially be front lit or back lit depending on the fabric/paint/style used, though admittedly front lit is far more likely.

I'm giving this a nudge over to the 2014 Art & Performance board, since that's a better fit. Good luck finding a host for your work.

Are you bringing these panels to the playa, or making them on playa, or some third thing?
