Hey! I'm an improviser in NYC and while this will be my first Burn this year, really wanted to bring something along and I was thinking of getting a Harold team together, maybe do a few guerrilla shows on the Playa. Also down to try new forms as well. Any interest?

I'd love to do this. I just won't be able to make it up to NY before heading to the Playa. I find that being familiar with the people you are doing improv with makes for MUCH better improv. I hope to catch one of your guerrilla shows!!

Hey Evan - message me here. I arrange entertainment for a hospitality camp and we have a lot of great improvisors, a stage, and a desire to put on shows !

Hey Evan,
I know of a few other improviser's from NYC heading to Burning Man.
A Harold with a capital H would be fun, we could even try to come up with a radically inclusive opening.
Last year I had some success with a free-form tag-heavy set that incorporated only one other trained improviser plus four complete newbies. The environment was very conducive to it.
Let me know about this Playa Harold. Cartoon Commune has a pretty good set up for comedy/performances, and I know there are other places for it.
Look me up.

hello, my name is Lauren and I improvised in New York City for 7 years. I currently live and work as a performer in Los Angeles and would love to get in on some of the comedic improv action at this year's Burning man!! I love collaboration, making people laugh, and hopefully learning a lot and making a good impact. I am a Burning virgin and I don't have a ticket yet (but I will be getting one). Please contact me:
[email protected] if you dig me!

That discussion was ten years ago! The schtick at the BRCPO was being as deadpan surly as possible. It was pretty funny.

Yes... and!! I'm an improviser from Portland OR and would love to find a way to connect and do some improvising. I will be at the camp Salon 7 at B & 8:15. You can come by and ask for Ralyn or Ray Ray and we can find a way to connect and workshop some Harold-y goodness and go share it with the playa!
Thanks for thinking of this!!

Personally, I can't make it thru the day without improvising.

Awesome, we have a slot on Monday at Center Camp Café (I think, I've received two communications about it, one more formal than the other) at 3, so if we don't find you before then, come on by.
A Harold with some type of playa-inspired opening might be the best bet for that show, but I'm open to other ideas.
