Hi citizens of Blackrock. HOTD – Hair of the Dog is looking for musicians/bands to play our stage. This will be our 15th year on the playa. If you aren’t familiar with HOTD we are a live music stage and blue colar bar. Our motto – We provide the booze and the music, and you provide the music and the booze.

Are you a novice and always wanted to get up on a stage and give it a go but haven’t had a chance? Maybe you’re experienced but you are the only person in BRC from your band and want to play. Or are you an experienced band looking for a venue. Doesn’t matter, we’ve got the stage for you and would love to hear what you got. We’ve got a full setup of drums, guitar and bass amps, 3 mic’s, PA (and hopefully keys). We are setting up slots for both day and evening and when no one is scheduled we will have the stage open for pick up jams and anyone who wants to play. General times are 12-5pm and 9 – 1am

We will be located on Rod’s Road @ A (Rod’s Road is the circle road around center camp and our location is only an approximation and the best information we have received thus far).

My name is Dashel Millihart; I do Free Range Folk Rock. Like the chicken.
This will be my fifth burn and I have heretofore stuck to Dust-Busking at Dusk, which is directionless and satisfying in its own right...but I need a stage and sound reinforcement this year or my voice is going to fire me. I am a solo act, a Singersong Rider, and a purveyor of Cage-Free Cowboy-Honesty. It is just me and a highly physically edited electric guitar named Weapon.
