2014 Burner Portraits

Postby waynerd » Wed Oct 01, 2014 12:08 pm

If you found me and my "Burner Portrait Cart" and I took your photo/stole your soul, you'll want to know that they have all been edited and are online, ready for you to download. All 157 sets!
Thanks to everyone for being a part of my gift.

Portraits can be found at: http://www.waynerd.net

Also, please make a note of my playa inspired real world version that I've recently launched, gifting creative photography sessions to those with extenuating hardships, limited financial means, mobility issues, remote location challenges etc. I'm hoping to take this project on the road after the burn next year. So watch for me! http://www.fotosforward.com

See you next year!

Beautiful portraits, Waynerd! What a lovely gift.

I checked out your website for some more info and was wondering if you'd considered adding a "where I am now and where I'm headed" section to the "Where and When". I thought it might be interesting for those who could afford your services to know if you're headed towards them... Question of keeping the ball rolling, fed!

I'd certainly be interested if you end up near Quebec City any time in the future.
Worry is a misuse of imagination

She had blue skin, And so did he.
He kept it hid And so did she.
They searched for blue Their whole life through,
Then passed right by- And never knew.”

Firstly, I haven't hit the road yet. I have a lot of work to do over the next 10 months to prepare but I'm shooting to launch the traveling version of FF from the burn next year. Felt it fitting since that's where I was inspired to do the project. On the Fotosforward site I do have a Where/When (currently just locally). Will look at ideas to add my current location as well. I'll also be all over the FB and twitter posts once I start moving and shooting. The waynerd.net site is only for Burning Man stuff only.

On that note I will be sure to add a "where am I now" section to my Photography Portfolio for potential paying gigs though.
Thank you,

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.
