If we do this on the Wednesday, we will have bookoo ice for our M&G. Shifts are 3 hours long, and I prefer the 9am-noon since peak sun & dust hours tend to fry my brain out there, though I realize ymmv. Alternative: take over the 3pm-6pm shift and roll straight from Arctica to M&G. Might could get a BDC eplayan to pick us up in the Mobile Whorehouse. What say you?

Question: Can anyone join this group for the ice shift? I'd like to meet some before the M&G. I prefer the 9-noon if it matters.

For whatever it's worth, for the past three years BDC&WB has bought a six-pack of ice for the M&G. You camp dues at work. I see no reason why that wouldn't continue, unless Felony wants to save the measley $15, which I doubt she does.

Just a reminder for those who want to attend and don't want to read through this entire thread.

The Meet And Greet is a private party for Eplayans and their guests. All Eplayans are welcome including those new to these boards - you do not need a special invitation.

It is a pot luck style event so please bring something to either eat or drink (does not have to be alcoholic).

I have set up a sign up sheet for volunteering and bringing stuff on Volunteer Spot - http://vols.pt/uusuPy with the usual categories. Feel free to suggest additional categories.

Note: Volunteer Spot does not require registration, but you do need to use an email address to sign in. I have never had any issues with them abusing it or spamming, but use a gmail or other generic email account if you are concerned.

Note: It is not necessary to sign up to bring something, you can just show up with it. The sign up sheet does help avoid a lot of duplication though. I once attended a pot luck where 54 out of 61 families brought baked ziti - that is something we try to avoid at the M&G.

Yeah, half the people there don't even know they are there, some of us are on diets, not me, but theoretical, you want to leave them wanting more, not with extra to have to schlep out.
Bring what you can carry on your bike, as if attending a small family gathering, if all your family was hungry ill-mannered drunks.....err...... so how is the weather down there, mate?
Speaking of which, whatever you decide to bring will be perfect......but the boyfriend....yeah.....about that......
