Planet Earth, Black Rock City’s indoor nightclub will be returning to the playa in 2014!

If you’re a fan of VCB dance music (music with verse, chorus and a bridge) come join us in 2014 for our 2nd year on the playa with our new indoor nightclub design.

We’ll be open every night from 8pm to 4am, Sunday opening night thru Sunday Temple burn night, spinning all the top hits and videos of the 70’s, 80s and 90s.

Some of our theme nights from 2013 included:

Michael Jackson .vs. Prince
80s New Wave
Depeche Mode .vs. New Order
The Goth Industrial Ball
80s/90s Hip Hop
70s Disco & Funk
The Cure .vs. The Smiths
The top 40 Prom

We’ll be doing it again, check back on this thread for information on DJ & Theme lineups, as well as our location on the esplanade once placement is announced.

Really appreciate you guys being open on Temple night. It always seems like BM starts locking down on Sunday, with so many camps already in default mode. We made it there after Temple burn and just rocked out with you guys. See you in 2014!

Planet Earth 2014 is coming back bigger and better in 2014!

We've decided to expand the footprint of the night club. We're adding a 2nd separate dance floor/room/sound system called the "Dark Room", we're also increasing the size of last years main room by 50%.

This is the new layout of Planet Earth 2014...
