Tent or Burner express campers

Offering to share camp area and wind shelter to a couple of tent camper..

A place to be out of the wind.. Shade to sit around in, in the heat of the day..

Bring your own chair and watch Burning Man parade by your camp..

WARNING.. I playa 40s 50s hit parade all the time..

I camp in a van w/cabana.. Monkey hut.. A shelter over a utility trailer..

The 5 o'clock and G area sounds like it'll be the happenin' place to hang out. Can't wait to swing by and say hello.

I'm giving this a nudge over to the 2014 camps board, since that's a better fit for threads about specific camps at this year's event.

What a great offer. It's worth also mentioning that being close to boulevard G makes it especially handy for Burner Express participants, since there's a shuttle that travels along G and makes stops between 3:00 and 9:00. If you get a campsite that's actually on G, that's pretty much curb-side service.

Planing on G and 5:00.. If people email me for a tent camp camp space? I will ask for a Sunday early in to set up..I'm a little disabled, so need extra time.. Mostly I tier out fast and need to rest often.

There's actually a fair amount of unregistered space at 5:00 and G, which you wouldn't need to fill out the questionnaire in order to get access to - it's just first come, first serve once the gates open (which will probably be on Sunday at 6pm).

If you do go the route of registering, hurry up - the placement questionnaire closes on Wednesday at noon. If your camp is placed and you're given early arrivals, you'd need to arrive no later than Saturday as they no longer do Sunday early arrivals.

One person can not theme a "guest camp".. They need names addresses and phone #s of the unregistered guest.. You must have a big asses costly theme camp..

I'm sorry that you didn't bother to do any reading or research or planning before now. The minimum number of people for placement has been in place for many, many years. At no point is there a financial requirement, you're just either misunderstanding or lashing out and saying random bullshit to cast Burning Man as the villain. You don't need to have money changing hands or charge anyone dues, and you don't need to provide the names or details of all your campmates. It's just that the camp needs to meet a minimum number of people (the specific number escapes me at the moment, but if I remember correctly it's single digits) in order to be considered for placement.

Based on the age of this thread and timing of your posts, it appears you came into this camp idea (which is great, btw) pretty late into the game, and may just not have had time to put together a plan before today's deadline. That doesn't mean that you can't be a theme camp, it just means that you can't get placement. You're still welcome to come through the gates once they open (I expect that to be at 6PM on Sunday) and grab a spot and go from there. If your setup requires an additional hand you can either wait til any campmates arrive or you could ask any neighbors for a hand.

I also wanted to be a placed camp but found out that 2 people aren't enough to get placement. That's a good thing. There was NO GUARANTEE that I would get placed where I wanted to be. I could have ended up farther from the Kidcamp and Hushville area instead of closer to it. (You could have been placed at Dubai and 9:00. That would have sucked.) Even if you aren't right next to Elliot you'll be close enough and we will find you. There are no bad spots to 'camp' at Burning Man.

Just pretty upset right now.. I have form phobias.. My sun wanted to use my printer.. When i said I was filling out a form he left the house..This shit got all the way through my meds.. Feel sick, going to bed.

Costume, Brass flat chain on a "cabby's" cap band, snaps to hold the goggles to the cap and windup clock gut for scrambled eggs on the bill.. All applied with little brass nuts and bolts..
