Alright, what camps (registered or otherwise) are planning on camping in the 4ish to 5ish range on the dial? Yes, we realize that all locations are approximate, and accurate to within half a block in any given direction for placed camps. Tell us about where you've been placed, or where you're aiming to camp in the neighborhood if you're not a placed theme camp. This thread is for camps to announce their locations and intentions (not for recruiting, posting lineups and schedules, or other stuff you can tell us in your own camp thread)… tell us who you are, meet your neighbors!

We at Spank of America would like our Black Rock City branch to be place at our usual 4:45 location. On the south side of the street facing the man makes us extra happy.
We always have such great neighbors and it is the only location that is dust free.

Hushville has been on 5 (D~F) for the last few years. Nice neighborhood!

Sojourn and I will be around 5:00 to 5:30 and G. Street Sign Replacement Camp. Wish we were closer to Kid Camp and HushVille but it's just a short ride over.

AntiM so true. Just think of all the things you saw off in the distance, (like across the street), and never made it over there to say Hi and get a good look.

On the other hand, I was always amazed how close the trash fence really is. Deep playa?! No. There's a sub-sub-culture going on out there. What is the distance from the man to the fence?

I loved riding out to the trash fence last year. It was different out there.

I'll be with Astral Headwash this year; pretty sure we always request 4:30.

Howdy neighbor My wife is a little too shy for us to venture into your tent, but I know many of our members enjoyed your hospitality in 2013. We also had a lot of patrons coming in with a confused look on their face and we knew that they were intending to find you. lol

The Hookah Lounge will also again be in the Black Rock Power District Village, probably in a similar place as last year, although we haven't gotten our Village map set yet.

Returning to Black Rock City 2014!

The Cabana Club - A favorite All-Inclusive vacation destination for the Caravans of Black Rock City will once again be rocking the 4:30 Portal.

The Black Rock Cabana Club is an oasis of hospitality and friendship. Come by for an Afternoon Delight (or any time for that matter). Our Cabana Boys and Cabana Girls will be serving serve up tasty treats and cocktails while our guests lounge in our comfortable cabanas, cool off in our Aluminet shade structure, or go for a spin in The Spa with our DJ's.

Daytime Afternoon Delight events: (M-F 4:00-6:00) A refreshing array of nosh, tasty treats, and cocktails all set in a cool and comfortable space to recharge and escape the ravages of the traveling the playa.

Night time events TBA but expect a couple surprises!

Planet Earth, your indoor 80's themed night club will be landing at 4:45!!!

Kamp Suckie Fuckaye will likely be around 4:30 and D again this year. I imagine that our village-mates the Mystikal Misfits, the Rainbow and Tetanus Society (RATS), and Black Rock City Animal Control will be in the same area as well. KSF, often confused for a sex-positive camp due to its huge electric sign that says "SUCK 'N' FUCK," has a saloon, viewing platform, aerials rig, and small indoor and outdoor stages, and is home to the Garnish Fire Conclave. We do frequent fire and acrobatic performances and a "Toolsday" event on Tuesday evening where we do wine tastings from Maynard James Keenan's vineyard and spin fire to a live DJ doing remixes of his music. Bar opens nightly at 10, heckling of passerby with a megaphone from the roof happens pretty much all the time.

BuddhaCamp at the Lotus Dome will be at 4:15 and Frankincense this year. As in the past, we'll host Buddhist chanting, an open meditation space, and Buddhist weddings. Come by and have a cup of espresso with us in the mornings at Naked Espresso for the Buddhist Heart! Now, who else has been placed?

I think we're all in a bit of shock, last year was our first year as registered and placed and we were at 3:15 and E and damned happy about it, I don't think we'd counted on getting a jump one block off the Esplanade in our second year.

Well, our motto is "We Don't Suck" and we're gonna do out best to live up to those words, unless of course one is speaking in purely puerile terms, then we're negotiable.

You're welcome anytime, Simon. There's been some talk of other ways we could abuse people from the roof this year, my favorite being "fishing for ravers" using glowsticks on fishing poles. The jury's out on whether we'll use actual fishing hooks though...

Also, the Garnish Fire Conclave was just accepted to burn in the great circle, as they tend to be. If past experience is an indicator, there will be a dress rehearsal performance at ye olde Suck 'n' Fuck on Wednesday 'round about 10 to midnight. This is probably my favorite photo I took of the burn last year, and you can expect more of this kind of shenanigans:

glow sticks are fun, but i like leaving little zip lock bags (dime bag size, preferably with unicorns and smiley faces printed on it) filled with corn starch and vitamin c with a hint of aspirin for the perfect "taste" on the ground.....

This is great! Are you connected with Home Rule Village? Our DC-based (and heavily international) village comprises three camps, of which mine is the newest. We call ourselves Pedal Pies featuring The Blind Diner, and will be offering blindfolded taste experiences throughout the week in our dome, along with a bicycle-towed wood-fired pizza oven that will be transported on a bike cart around the playa.

This year we are proudly borrowing from the wonders and talents of Monty Python to bring a fantastical vision to the playa! Be prepared for sing-a-longs, movie screenings, comedy and sorrow, excitement and fear... and a few choice drinks.

Club Neu Verboten is pleased to return to the 4;30 and Esplanade location we have had past couple of years when we were known simply as Club Neu.Upped the ante this year by reacquiring our old Club Verboten tent giving us indoor and outdoor venues for even more events and and yet another camp name.

We promise to continue to allow all bikers and pedestrians to take advantage of the traditional short cut/on ramp from 4:30 to The Esplanade that runs through our placement area.

Our placement is in. Astral Headwash will be at 4:15 and Ephesus this year.

The Swish Embassy - along with the rest of the 404:Village Not Found folks: M*A*S*H 4207, Playa Waste Raiders, Bamboozled, Universe University AND The Hate Bar - will be at 4:15 and Darjeeling!

Excellent, I became frenemies with the Hate Bar at Apogaea, and I look forward to their particular brand of filth in our vicinity.
