Hi fellow burners! I will be returning home this year after a 4-year hiatus. Unfortunately in those 4 years of working, school and moving I have lost touch with old friends and no longer have campmates. If there is one thing I have learned in my four years on the playa (2007-2010) it is that the people make the burn. Thus, I am hoping to find a group of like-minded individuals to camp with. I have all my gear (tent, table, shade, food, water etc.) a ticket and a van. I am happy to put in time and effort before the burn and will likely have an extra seat in my van on the way to the playa if someone needs a ride. Lastly, I will be volunteering at Arctica and/or Center Camp Café so that should be a blast!
About me: I am Melissa, a 25 year old bay area native and veteran burner. I go for the art, good time, AMAZING sunrise/sets, new friends, hard work and harsh conditions. Does your camp have a bar? I have 5 years bartending experience and would be happy to help! I also love to cook and will be bringing my camp kitchen, bacon fried pancakes anyone?
