Sun Guardians: Yoga, Art and Spirit

Sun Guardians is making its appearance on Playa again this year and we are looking for the right people to make the right fit.

Sun Guardians is a circle of energy where personal energy is elevated beyond the caveman, while not condemning either the peace-maker or the warrior within. WE are the combined energies of both and in opposition at the same time to coexist in harmony and chaos. We are a group of campers who are going to make something happen different than all the others in the Gayborhood at Burning Man in 2014. This is a camp based on 3 pillars: Yoga | Art | Spirit and Community.

We are working on a plan to raise money needed for the basic infrastructure of the camp, and already have commitments on many components.

Many of the details are laid out on the web site and on our Facebook page (linked below). But here are some of the happy highlights:

- We have requested placement in the Gayborhood
- We are radically inclusive but anticipate many of our camp members will be LGBTQ
- We will be hosting events during the week; mostly yoga, massage and meditation classes
- We will be hosting a party on Wednesday evening "Monk Fetish"
- We will be participating as a "Sanctuary Camp" - A network of camps who provide an immediate and temporary safe space for people at Burning Man in distress and will get them to a Ranger
