What are the signs and symptoms of "Playa Lung"?

Based on other posts, I believe it is mainly a persistant hacking cough.

Yup. I am hacking pretty good all day and night. It began about 3 days after I left the Playa.

I am having a bit of a problem going to sleep at night because just as I begin to drift off and the body relaxes, my chest begins to "rattle" and I wake-up.

Not much fun.

I am going to the doc Thursday to see of I can get some relief.

My chest hurts. My tits hurt. No coughing. If it's not playa lung I'm dying faster than I was before. but I did get my flu shot and my blood pressure has never been better.

I developed a pretty wicked case on Wednesday on the playa... persistent dry hacking cough, sometimes dirty discharge. It flared up again during Exodus when everyone was driving out and kicking up dust. If it's really playa lung it should have passed by now.

Or it could be an infection from all of the bacteria, natural and imported, on the playa.
