Looks like a cool theme for this year, I like it.

But from the description on the website... it looks like.... no man base? A year after the most awesome man base ever, we're gonna go all 90s style now? Confused.

Looks like I may have to visit my tattoo artist, for an update.

I can't tell from the scale, but I can imagine it being pretty dang impressive if this structure is going to be as tall as the UFO + man combined was last year... Sounds like generally he's been 40-50ft tall and on 40-50 bases... I couldn't quickly find any data for 2013 though.

Maybe they realized they went too big with the fire tornados?

Yes, it looks huge...scaling something to twice the height means filling eight times the volume. I think it's definitely going to be impressive enough, and a worthy challenge for the Man team. It would be funny if they put a mini-Man on top of it. Hope it doesn't have a problem where it falls over rather than collapses while burning.

Whenever I read the cutesy fanciful write up about what the theme means, I really truly feel like burning and blowing some shit the fuck up.

I like the man design.

I loved the spaceship design last year. It was fun being able to climb up into and walk around in and then take a slide down.
Doesnt look like there will be interior access to this one.
Wonder how they will keep it stable in high winds?

I like the theme though.

If it's going to be 'just' a big, scaled up man, I'll be impressed, but if that's 'all' it's going to be, there could have been an awesome opportunity to create a big open-air climbable/usable persian-style 'caravansary' as a platform from what I see in my google image search...

It would be great if they put a mini man on top of the Man, and then a mini mini man on top of that, etc. then we have "Man all the way up" compared to "turtles all the way down"
