It looks like there's at least two others, who reported it here. We can be sure that it's a fraction of the people this is happening to.
Hey Trilo, are there any best practices yet. I want to advise him/her to stay on the screen and not log out, but I'm not sure if it does any good.

I tried completely logging out and closing my browser and starting again... same result.

Same here...tried 3 different times, changed the number of vehicle passes...too many items...

I can't even get to something that says I can buy tickets....it wants a Promo Code - any idea what I can do?

Yep, that and "Must Use Visa or MasterCard" even though the visa logo is lighting up. Exceeding maximum, cart says 2 tickets (one ticket and one vehicle pass). Tried two different cards so I can only conclude buggy code turned loose. woohoo!

I use the link with the promo code that was in the email. made it all the way through putting in my personal info and then "too many" I only requested one ticket and one vehicle pass.

Same here. I am getting the same error message. Everything should be in place but i am being told I am trying to buy more then 4 tickets.

Asked for 1 ticket and 1 pass....said I requested more than 4! Nice!

Me too ... I was attempting to purchase 2 tickets but got the message above. Tried again. It also said I must use either Visa or Mastercard (I was using a Mastercard issued from PC Financial in Canada) ... no go. Tried again with my Visa (issued by RBC in Canada) and it worked. However it skipped the page where you select the vehicle pass. I had to log in using my wife's separate "backup" code and was able to purchase a single vehicle pass ... again using the Visa. Because it was a separate order I was charged another $29 delivery fee. I'm sure it will be worked out in the end.

NOTE: I have had issues trying to purchase in US using my Canadian Mastercard before ... kinda hit and miss.

sent an email to the burning man ticket support link and they replied that they would get back to me within 48 hours.

You have to click on the "sparkly things" link on your profile page & enter your confirmation code. After that you can purchase them. I had the same problem. Now I have mine ordered.

Also, after you register with Tickeyfly you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You need to verify your account before proceeding on to purchase your ticket. Many people may be missing this step.

I just got confirmation. IT WORKED

I managed to get on the phone with ticketfly. It appears that there is an issue with the parking pass that causing the mix up. If you can get through call them. They said they are compiling a list of people trying to buy tickets if you cant get through.

got to many ticket request 3 times, got in on 4th try, tickets conf.

started all over again using the ticket page on the Burning Man website instead of the email link and it worked. Now just need to be sure that they did not charge me for more than the one ticket and pass that I requested.

And it looks like, despite the glitch, people were able to buy tickets reasonably quickly.

It worked on the 4th try!...1 Ticket, 1 VP!

After 25 min., 4 tries and several multiple ticket messages, I finally was confirmed for 1 Presale ticket and 1 vehicle pass.

The problem was at Ticketfly. Tried from burner profile page, email and just using the code BM sent and all failed with the trying to purchase too many tickets error. Then I tried again and it worked. Ticketfly fixed the issue.
