It seems that many of us have the same problem. I thought I was go to go on the Pre-Sale page only to get an error that I tried to purchase more than I was allowed to. The error is misleading at best.
You need to click on the "Sparkly Things" button on your Burner Profile page instead of the "Enter Pre-Sale" link on the bottom of the page. After I did that & entered my code I was able to place my order & get confirmation.
That at least seemed to be my problem YMMV.

Also, after you register with Tickeyfly you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You need to verify your account before proceeding on to purchase your ticket. Many people may be missing this step.

I've been two years and still haven't even seen that darn bell! That's what I get for entering right as the gates open, I suppose.

Scout, how do you miss it at Greeters station? I think they go up Saturday night/Sunday morning.

Both times I entered it was fairly dusty and full dark once I made it to Greeters Station. On Sunday early evenings the line was chock full, so the Greeters I got were focused on moving my vehicle through quickly.
Both times, the first question I was asked was "Do you know where you're going?" and, being the nerd I
was am, I had studied the map enough to confidently answer affirmative. I guess I seemed sure enough of myself they didn't feel the need to run through more than the bare essentials.
The second question was "Do you have any questions?" The first year, I asked about the bell and they said it wasn't there - they even pointed to the empty stand where it was supposed to be hanging. The second year I could tell the Greeters were trying to hurry us through and that my driver wasn't keen on doing dust angels or finding the bell, so I held my peace.
I might have gotten a hug through a window the first year, maybe?

The bells are not up during the first rush of incoming vehicles - if the visibility is really bad, or there are lots of vehicles waiting, the Greeter's won't have you get out of your car. In that case PLEASE come back to the Greeter's Station (or Greeter's Camp - easier to get to) and we will be really happy to be sure you are baptized to your heart's content. We would love to have you come and play with us!

I totally understand, which is why I didn't make a big deal out of it, especially the second time around. Just being on Gate Road is enough to get me giddy, anyhow.
Come to think of it, we were placed right near Greeter's Camp last year but I never even thought to ask about the bell! I did get some
fantastic cooperation for a rather risqué scavenger hunt, though, so I know how much fun you greeterfolk can be.

The one thing you won't find is a "bell" at greeter's camp - those are all out at the station. Imagine camping next to one of those damn things - I can hear them all day and night even inside the city.

Right there with you on that! Was going to wait for regular tickets, but I decided if I was serious about going that an additional $270 was worth it!

In for a penny -- In for a pound.... My Visa bill arrived today and it has been charged with my Pre Sale ticket & Vehicle Pass.
No backing out now. Hope to meet some of you guys on the Playa in August.

ePlaya Meet & Greet. Lots of regulars, lurkers, and new folks show up for the potluck, it's an awful lot of fun.
