Extremely disappointed that tickets are gone, but there will be other opportunities to get tickets and parking pass….hopefully.
What I am very annoyed about is I actually got in to buy our tickets. But when then received an error
Saying “Sorry, we were not able to find a user with that user name and password” What?? It is the same email that I used to set up my Burning Profile and register to get tickets. And I know I type my password in correctly.
Did anyone else have this issue?
Very frustrating experience…….again.

You don't specify what site you saw this message on. I'm guessing Ticketfly, since Burner Profiles does not have a FB link that I'm aware of.
As per the posted and emailed information, you'd need to create a ticketfly account if you did not already have one. If you didn't have one, I've got to imagine it would not be possible to sign in via Facebook. If you didn't have a TFly account, the right button to have pushed would have been the one marked 'Register' - it worked for me in the Directed Group Sale, and for campmates and friends who went through the experience today.

That IS the ticketfly screen. From there you just needed to register as a new user and you would have been onto the purchase screen.

Which email did it state that I needed to set up a ticketfly account?
In email confirms that you are pre-registered for access to the Burning Man 2014 Individual Sale I don't see this request.
It had a link with my passcode to buy tickets.
The facebook link only came up when it did not recognize my email. My burner friend got the same error. All he did was back in and out of the screen and he was able to successively buy his ticket. He said he did not set anything up with the ticketfly site beforehand.
Interesting all around.
I am not going to freak out. We will get tickets eventually.

That's the spirit!
Because this image is of the login for TicketFly, NOT the burner profiles, the key is that you needed to have hit "register" - not "sign in" - to create a TicketFly account on the fly. Then you'd be passed to the purchasing page, having been logged in upon registering. It's completely analogous to buying tickets on Ticketmaster, if you've ever done that.

It was also in the blog post the ticket team put out, and I believe mentioned in the reminder email sent out to all registrants (as it was with the directed group sale). I'm sorry that you didn't realize that or connect that you were on a different domain and just click the register button when it couldn't locate your account. But there will be other opportunities.
