Apparently you never read the little blue box at the top of your TicketFly order confirmation email way back when (like most of us probably didn't):

I just read mine (who cares about the fine print on those things), and, in lieu of email discussion about the emails, that line stood out like a sore thumb.

I'm located in Sacramento, and finally got my email on Friday (7/25)! I haven't received any more info from USPS or my tickets since then, but i'm starting to relax a bit more.

Have faith everyone. The last person of our camp just got their email yesterday. All of our tickets were purchased within 5 minutes of each other, we all live within a quarter mile from each other, but we received our tickets weeks ago and she was still waiting....and waiting....

I know our geographic proximity to each other and ticket purchase times are irrelevant, but I know many of you (like me) try to tie the smallest facts together into some sort of logical fabric so we can sleep better at night. :D

I got the notification late last night. Yay! :D

I'll be away from home for a week and a half, so I signed in to USPS and requested a mail hold til AUG 2nd. Essentially they wont deliver anything until then. I had actually postponed this business trip until this week so as to be available to sign for the tickets, but who knew they would be this long coming? :|
Hopefully that will prevent them from returning the order due to me not being there to sign.

Just called ticketfly. My tickets shipped a month ago.

They don't have a tracking number or anything. Said they would have to contact burning man ticket support and get the tracking number and then get back to me on the whereabouts of my tickets.

For the record my order was placed and confirmed in the first 10 minutes of the general sale, haven't changed my address or done anything.

Oh and I went to high school with my USPS mailman, there's no way he's brought a signed package to my door and not told me about it.

I'm sorry but if you don't have your tickets by now in my opinion you need to be calling ticketfly and finding out when they shipped them out.

I have no doubt my 2 tickets and vehicle pass were shipped in someone else's order.

Or even worse, they are still sitting with burning man ticket org waiting to be stuffed in and envelope with the guide and a fireball.

Just registered to say i talked to ticketfly customer service today and the lady told me that my tickets havent shipped yet because my last name starts with "s" and "theres a lot of s last names" . Didnt realize they were doing this alphabetically; anyone here with an S last name get their tickets yet? I bought from the general sale......

Some body is pulling some leg at ticket fly... There are just to many stories coming out of then.. Sounds like the person answering the phone thinks something up for each caller.

But I know someone who last name starts with a W and they got theirs.
I sent ticketfly an e-mail.
Has anyone got an answer from ticketfly using e-mail, or should I call?

Maybe we can reverse engineer this even more. I got the package through UPS about a month ago, last name starts with M. Perhaps they worked through the UPS shipments alphabetically, and are now working through the USPS ones? Girlfriend used USPS and her last name starts with S, has not received it yet.

Would have made me feel less nervous about the situation.

I didn't even think they sent those to Canada, since this year was the first year I'd even heard it was a thing.

USPS shipping date and last name does not jive.

My package arrived via USPS on July 2 and my last name begins with a "W".

Another thought - could pre-sale ticket have been shipped first?

it sounded more like not necessarily shipped alphabetical,but sorted alphabetical and shipped by size of said sorted piles. Again who knows i just want my ticket haha

I know the official line is not to worry yet and trust the system, but given the number of botched orders and the immense peace of mind that can be gained with getting a simple straight answer that specifically pertains to your order, I'd recommend anyone still waiting to call Ticketfly customer support. I just did so to see about my girlfriend's ticket order for her parents, waited on hold for about 5 minutes, and got a friendly customer service rep that was able to immediately say that the order had shipped yesterday and is scheduled to arrive on Thursday. She put me on hold for about another minute and was then able to give me the USPS tracking number. As someone else said, it's not like you're slowing the organization down by calling in because someone has to get up from stuffing envelopes to pick up the phone. They have full-time employees whose job it is to answer calls from customers with questions about their orders.

I got an email but my girlfriend didn't, by the way. Rep said she should have gotten one and repeated the email address correctly. Tickets purchased at the same time during the directed sale, last names start with 'H' and 'M'.
