My fiancé is at burning man currently. He camps in mansonian institute. He lost our new silver go pro 3+ Thursday night. It has all of his pictures on it. We are hoping we get it back because we just bought it for this event. If nothing else we hope to get the memory card back because those pictures can not be replaced. It is a 32GB San Disk (micro SD card). Can email a picture and serial number if you have found one.

Tell him to go over to Playa Info if you have access to him. There's a Lost and Found.

Most things get turned in and end up there. A team spends months trying to get things back to their rightful owners (with something like an 85% success rate!), but it's always best if it gets put right without having to go into the system.

And a reminder for next year: Always make your first picture an owner information shot - including info on where you are camped, if known in advance.

BMIR just put the call out to people to come on down and announce what they've lost, as well. Can't hurt.

You're the first of what will probably be a few hundred "Help! I lost..." threads - the majority of which will be written by folks who didn't think to go to Playa Info while they still could.

So in a way, I suppose I should thank YOU, for getting this reminder out there before the burn is over.

He's heading over to playa info now. He lost it very late last night and then spent a few hours looking for it. I will post if I hear anything from him. I really hope someone does find it and turn it in. If nothing else the memory card.
