My phantom 2 vision quadcopter/drone is lost.
It is white plastic with red and blue stripe stickers on the propeller arms. It has 4 propellers. It has a camera with a Micro SD card in the back, with video of my camp on it (Stardust Casino). Says "PHANTOM" embossed on the front camera facing side. Its this exactly: http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-2-vision
and the Serial Number is BG272027166561.

It was lost Wednesday just after sunset, and had taken off from my camp at 8:15@A (Stardust) possibly landing somewhere around 9:15 between A & B according to my GPS app. A campmate flew my drone out of sight and lost it when I wasn't home to tell him not to. It was lost before I could get the final registration for it at the airport the next morning.

If you've found it, I have a gift for you. This thing means a lot to me.

My name is Devin Nickoloff and you can reach me at 1-415-686-5697 or at [email protected]

Thank you,
Devin

I hope your campmate is paying any shipping or replacement costs.

Sucks to be you.
You just happened to have a campmate who knew how to fly? and turn on the GPS app? and took liberties with your $1500 toy?
I call bullshit.
Flying over theme camps, and people, at night, with an unregistered UAV is/was cause for ejection. You and your "friend" should consider yourselves lucky you weren't escorted to the gate.

Thanks for the heads up "Just_Joe". I'm very aware of the rules.

He did indeed know how to fly it as he also owns one, and yes, he should not have flown it over people or camps. Needless to say, he's not welcome back in our camp.
