Hi.

On an ice run in my trike (the "Twisted Mister") from 4:30 and D, along D to 3, then to the ice sales, my iPhone 5 dropped out of my pocket due to the bumpy roads.

Even though is was a short distance, retracing my steps didn't help find it.

I've locked it via Find iPhone, and entered my info should it be turned on (charged?) so it will bring up the message. It's running a beta of iOS 8, so my owner/contact info should be locatable if you click 'emergency' from the locked menu.

Here's what the case looks like. (This photo has a white phone in it, while mine is black.) There is a RED clip that covers the headphone jack.

David (HolyShit- This may be my playa name so please don't be offended.... When a shade structure flipped 180 degrees on top of camp mates I yelled this in shock and it may end up being my name...SIGH)

I neglected to point out that I think I had a picture of the man burn from last year as the background for the lock screen.

Here's the uncropped picture. It's just the center that is in the background of the lock screen.
I really hope someone finds my phone!...

A friend of mine found a phone very similar to your description, I think on Sunday by 4 and D. They went and turned it into the lost and found. So once they have a chance to go through all the stuff that wasn't claimed, I think they may have your phone. Keep your fingers crossed!

Be patient. It takes months to go through lost and found. But they do find the owner in more than half the cases.

Thanks to the lovely Lois, My phone is back home. It was a bit worried being lost... but was very happy to emerge from it's protective egg, and celebrate back in it's family's loving arms!
