BRIEF PROJECT OVERVIEW:
XUZA is a two level interactive art car, designed to carry close to 40 passengers on many journeys throughout Burning Man. XUZA is also a mobile sound installation and will be hosting many amazing DJ's and vocalists at various locations around the Playa.
Your money will go to the following key expenses:
Building Materials: Tons of steel which are going to be used for the structure of the rig and ensure safe operation in the middle of this beautiful dust bowl we call home.
Lighting: LED's, LED's and more LED's! Yes XUZA is a 16th century Chariot... but this 21st Century transformation needs to be far more spectacular then that Bucks Rogers buddy "Twiki" We will be investing in two short throw projectors for the visuals on the entire side of the rig that will be used when XUZA is throwing a party. We will also be incorporating long throw UV Cannons which will illuminate the UV reactive flags as our Flag Spinners are painting the sky.
Sound: Loud doesn't necessarily mean good We understand and respect our neighbors and will be doing our best to minimize "Noise" pollution. We are designing a sound system that is loud enough to engage our party attendees but won't bleed into another party halfway across the Playa
Transportation / Fuel: Even though we live in Nevada, it's still a 15-18 hour journey from Las Vegas to Black Rock City. We're aprox. 1,100 miles roundtrip plus an estimated 100 gallons of fuel which will be used for XUZA Playa Opperations.
We are striving to hit our goal so that we don't have to rent sound equipment and the Generator. Owning them will allow us to bring XUZA to other events, festivals and regional burns throughout the year!!! The possibilities are within the reach of the universe and we'll be able to share the magic of XUZA with everyone.
This campaign means so much to the entire XUZA team!! With your help you will be able to make my vision a reality and bring XUZA, complete with all of the bells a whistles, to the Playa this year! Well not just bells and whistles...we're also talking about blinky shiny things, comfy fuzzy things, loud drummy things...and so much more.... oh, the things we have to show you!!!
