CampDIY considering a few additional burners

Post by Risque Rascal » Fri Apr 17, 2015 11:56 am

CampDIY is entering its 4th year as a placed camp. The last three years we have been on 6:00 between D and E. Our group of 30 is a mix of veteran and new burners from San Diego and Bay Area, as well as some from as far as Texas, Hawaii and Toronto. We are fairly low key on the party intensity scale. Our focus is a number of daily workshops of various Maker or DIY'er topics, which have been consistently well attended. Our participatory expectations of our camp is either leading or assisting in one workshop during the week. Our dues are very modest, mostly just a fractional contribution to the cost of our community space. We have room for a few more in our camp, particularly if you are in tent, monkey hut or yurt. RVs based folks might be hard to squeeze in but we can discuss. Please contact if your are interested.

Hi I sent you a PM a couple of days ago, we would really like to join your camp and feel we could contribute a lot. We are very good at doing our share. BTW we are virgins, (forgot to mention that) as well as lifetime DIYers.

Hello,

We are looking to join a camp this year. Last year, I was at the Emergency Services Department camp and it was fantastic. I ended up being an ad hoc bartender and kitchen helper. My boyfriend and I are more than willing to pitch in and help wherever needed. We are big DIYers. We are bringing a 25 ft. RV and supplies for everyone. Let me know. Puhleeze and thank you!
