Sound Healer wants to share his gift

Post by singinsammy » Sat Aug 01, 2015 4:01 pm

Hello, Burners.

When I meet you in a couple months, you can call me WoowooBear.

Last year (my first year) I brought my Tibetan bowls, and set up a little station in the temple to do some work on people (my partner also performed crania-sacral simultaneously)... mostly people winding down from their medicine of choice. It was incredibly rewarding for me and the recipients seemed to benefit from the coming and integrating nature of the therapies.

I'd like to do something similar, and thought if there was a camp that brought together healing arts, I (and maybe my partner) could participate.

Can anyone offer some suggestions on where to look/who to contact?

Thanks for the benefit of your experience, and I look forward to leaving for the desert soon =)

I'm moving this over to Camps, Art & Activities since that's a better fit. I'd suggest doing what anybody looking to find a camp or stage should do.... take a look at the published information (there's a list of theme camps on the main site, plus numerous camps posting on the boards) to try and find one who may be offering something that aligns with what you're doing. You could probably also browse the playa events calendar - find some stuff that fits with what you're doing, and take note of where those events are being held. Reach out to them online. Good luck!

Thanks for moving my post, Trilobyte! I've been perusing the theme camp on your suggestion and it's..... big :) But that just increases the chance I'll find something that fits!
