Spare accomodation in SF 29th Aug - 1st Sept?

Post by thefequeen » Tue Aug 04, 2015 5:37 am

Hi all!

Myself and my boyfriend live in Australia and London respectively and are flying in to SF on the 29th August. We're hoping to spend a few of days exploring SF and getting everything prepared before heading to the playa on Tuesday. Given how excruitatingly expensive accomodation is in SF, I was wondering if any burners departing from SF on the Saturday would fancy making a few hundred bucks and letting us use their place for three nights? (preferable to the $1k we're looking at for a hotel...) Would of course look after the place as our own (which would be kept clean and tidy, I promise) and could either arrange a place to deliver the keys back to you on the playa, or leave them somewhere/with someone you know.

Bit of a long shot but worth a try I guess, I'd much rather spend the money on more playa gifts, and heaps of other better causes :D Alternatively if anyone has any cheap, alternative suggestions, please share!

Happy to provide any more info about us if needed.

Thanks! Helen

I would suggest not staying in the city. There is no parking in San Francisco. Thus, you have no car. Look at the map of our train sys. BART Bay Area Rapid Transit. Stay somewhere near the bart and go into the city to sight see. It is hard to do shopping there.
