How do I tell presale and regular sale tickets apart?

Post by econ][ » Thu Feb 19, 2015 8:27 am

Hello, I'm someone who did not get tickets yesterday in the individual sale and am evaluating my other options. I'd like to keep with the principle of not buying a ticket above its face value. That said some tickets have a face value of $800 and some tickets have a face value of $390. How do I tell these tickets apart to ensure I'm not paying more than face?

Thanks.

The price is printed on the back.

Yup. My pre-sale ticket last year had the price that I paid for it printed on the back.

That may or may not help you out if buying online. Best way to ensure you're getting tickets at face value is probably through STEP, but I think STEP this year is going to be a very large pool of burners competing for a very few tickets.
