people were giving away vehicle passes in the will call line last year.

Who can risk that though?! Rolling up to the gate in HOPES there's a VP for a car full of people with tickets.

at the AMA on reddit they said even if you had a car full of people with tickets and no VP you'd be turned around.

Thousands of dollars down the tubes for missing out on a 50$ VP.

Just got tickets!!! Was in line for one hour and it still said next step in over an hour. Opened the link from the e-mail in a new tab and got straight to the order page! The little man in line is still walking on the first tab

Just saying that there were excess vehicle passes last year. To arrive at the gate without one would be irresponsible at best

I got in. Wait time went up and down, but finally 3, 2, 1 BOOM! I was so excited that I forgot my ticketfly credentials and had to look them up. Good luck everybody. Burning Man means a lot to me and I can't wait to see all of you again!

I wouldn't worry too much about vehicle passes at this point. Just worry about getting through and getting tickets now, vehicle passes can be sorted later. People realize they didn't need as many as they thought and plenty turn up in the after-market, and it's also possible that Burning Man will revisit the number they make available this year.

Don't wait until the gate to snatch up a vehicle pass, I think the point of mentioning that there were vehicle passes showing up extra at the gate is to reassure people that in this process getting a vehicle pass will probably be relatively easy, with alittle effort and patience. If you only need a vehicle pass, and you are on the hunt starting now, you will get one.

One panic for Burning Man a day.
