What's the QR Code for?
What's the QR Code for?
Anyone know what the QR code is for? All it does is display the ticket's serial number. If a ticket has been voided would that show up when you scan it?
Burn Burn yes you're gonna Burn.
Re: What's the QR Code for?
No, unless someone wrote a app specifically for BM tickets that checked the voided ticket list, then no, a normal QR scanner app wouldn't know that it's a burning man ticket and wouldn't check the voided ticket list.
That said, gate will probably scan the code, and they obviously would check if the ticket is still valid or not.

Re: What's the QR Code for?
Fixed, and this is correct. If a ticket has been voided, Gate will know and the entire vehicle will be refused entry, even if every other ticket is valid. No one is allowed to just dump someone at Gate, they need to take the person with the invalid back to Reno first.SnowBlind wrote:That said, gate will probably scan the code, and they obviously would check if the ticket is still valid or not.
