is there anyway to change your username? Of course I could just create a new username and start posting, but I don't want to be sock-like about it, and would like to retain my history.
reason - my name is specific to last year's mutant vehicle, and this year I have a new one...
...just wondering... regards, Jafe

I say "tough shit". Look how many registered users there are. Why swamp the admin? Just get a free email account and register a new one if you were foolish enough to pick a lousy one.

And if you're worried about people not knowing who you are, feel free to clarify in your user profile.

I don't mind the occasional request for a name change. Though I will convey it with less spittle, I'm right up there with Bob in encouraging folks to use their real names, or recognizable playa names. I use Technopatra because more folks know me under that name than "Nicole".
I would like to see, as much as possible, folks willing to be themselves here, say who they are and what they stand for, stand by their words and act here in the same manner they would in a lve setting. I'd like everyone to be real get the sense that they are meeting and interacting with other real people.
