I've since touched it up as well as I could (given that I posted it back in 2008 and was having trouble remembering exactly what I had written). This kind of correction is something that the new system lets us do that the old system didn't. The pre-clean up version of my post lives on in the Google cache, for the moment. What I saw looked something like this:

"One of Rep. John Boehner’s local offices was evacuated Monday afternoon after a suspicious package arrived in the mail. ...

After an X-ray analysis, investigators determined the package contained bacon. ...

Some critics have charged that the legislation contained unnecessary giveaways, which are sometimes referred to as “pork barrelâ€"

So, some sort of file was corrupted, obviously, and this is not a good thing. If it happened once, it will probably happen again.
