Site Maintenance (July 2013)

Site performance has been frustratingly slow these last couple days. It's due to some maintenance work being done by our hosts, and will hopefully be done soon, but it also serves to remind me that we're due for some maintenance as well.

I'll be taking ePlaya offline for a couple hours sometime after midnight PST tonight to rotate the tires, change the oil, take the rugs out back and give 'em a good shake, and look for loose change (as well as reindex the database, clean up caches and attachments, and that sort of thing). Everything should be finished within a few hours, I'll post an all-clear in this thread once it's done and the board's back up.

Hehe - yes I do. My schedule gets a bit odd at times, but it works for me. Late night on a Saturday's an unusual time to be doing stuff like this, but as it happens I'll just be coming off a few hours of working with big tools at my local workshop place, so I know I'll be up and around and not dead asleep or out on the town.
