Moderator Colors: that Green is very unreadable.

I like having the mods show up in a different color, but the way the layout presents on my screen, that green is very unreadable. And also obscuring some items in their signature line, some all of which is valuable information.

(that green on the tan/sand just seems to blur the green together)

Mods names in green jump right out. I didn't notice the sig in green, but figures some female mod would decide that the curtains had to match the drapes.

No, it's funny.

I really did want it to match. And then I was all like . . . Hmm. That's very bright. So when Canoe agreed, I had to concede that I would rather be coherent than pretty.

Evaluated? No.
But when I used to print with an enlarger, and now with digital prints, my "by eye" color calibration is better than most, but not as good as some.

The green stands out great, but it's soooo hard to read.

I see trilobyte's colour is #AA0000 and the other mods are #00AA00, which would seem reasonable give how well trilogyte stands out. But different colors are perceived differently, and against based on background. Perhaps a darker green, like 99 or even 88 or 77.
But, so far all we know is that it's difficult for me to read. And although I've got five monitors, they're from the same company so likely the same phosphors.

To be fair, ePlaya's color scheme has been making eyeballs bleed for years

I don't have a problem with adjusting the green a bit (it was the universal mod color as determined by the secret brotherhood of the PHPPBB developers), I think the darker's a better choice.

That's interesting, I didn't think that was in green to start with. But it's been so long since I set that sig, I couldn't tell you for sure--except that I doubt I would have chosen green as it's not my favorite color.

OK... color issue resolved. Now how about the font? I just cannot stand the current mod font. Something MUST be done about it!

To be fair, ePlaya's color scheme has been making eyeballs bleed for years

I know I've complained about this before, but can't you or somebody do something about that? The color scheme doesn't have to change to the point that it looks especially different, just more readable. For example, that hard-to-read [lighter grey] color used for some of the text could be changed to a more contrasty [darker grey] without it changing the overall motif. Hell, I'd rather have it [even darker] but it may not look as grey as the original color scheme chooser would like. That [orange] could also be [darker] when not bolded.

I like "Spooky" or "Wingdings" how about "Alien" or "X file" for fonts
