ePlaya App?

Have you guys thought about creating an ePlaya app for android and iPhones? Many people dont even have computers these days, I dont... for many of us a smart phone is all we need...

So an Android app would be rad... you can make one for those iTards too, I guess. ;)

Ive frequented many forums... used to do it on desktops haha... but nowadays Im on a smart phone only... dont even own a laptop...

But forums with apps are the shit... it streamlines everything and makes for a better experience for those of us using phones.

Just something to consider... FWIW, the ePlaya forum does work pretty smoothly on my Android compared to other forums, so I cant complain too much... but an app would be the tits.

Yes we have and no we aren't planning on doing an app anytime soon. The site currently has a responsive design, and visually scales (as well as performs) significantly better than it has in the past (and better than a number of the really lousy forum packaging apps on the market).

The experience is more variable (and generally weaker) on Android than on iOS, but that appears to have more to do with fragmentation on the platform (as with desktop/laptop machines, performance is generally better if you're able to run a more recent OS/software version). Depending on your OS/browser version you should also be able to save the site as an icon.

It has been my observation that sites that want you to use an ap are using the ap to mine and resell your data. Probably not 100% but...

Ok since this site does work pretty smoothly thru my phone... I guess I o my have a problem with the way it interprets what I'm typing in...

And sometimes brings things down into a new paragraph when I didn't want it to.

And capitalizes words I didn't want it to.

And yeah, I am the Android you're looking for. ;)

Sorry, petty complaints but True.

Spelling correction takes place on the client (your phone, desktop, tablet, etc.) It's usually a implemented by the browser or the mobile keyboard.

I still vote App. The GassCity app I use works flawlessly on my S7 Active.
