Renting a Moving Truck in Reno

Post by bladini » Mon Feb 25, 2019 3:16 am

Hey there!

I'm traveling in from Sweden I want to rent a Moving truck. The only place I can find online to book for a week is Budget. They've raised the price to 210 usd per day during BM. What are my other options?

I'm looking for a 10ft box truck.

Sincerely/ Goldenboi

I am looking for the same thing and I thought about looking into renting from a neighbor state and driving the way there. You get a better deal for equipment as well.

You can try California and Oregon.

It's my first time so I am just saying from what I searched online.

Moved to recommendations, as that is a better fit for looking for a business suggestion.

It’s getting pretty late to reserve a truck in Reno and N Nv. Try Vegas and drive up, flights into Vegas May be cheaper than Reno
Oh my god, it's HUGE!

Be careful of the rental agreement. My friend only found one company in the bay area that was ok with playa use last year.

Reports that some have come on the playa and taken them back.

Also watch out for reservations that are cancelled later, even at the last minute, as they can get a higher rate due to the demand.

Use Google to search eplaya for reliable sources in prior years, then contact them.
